Who are we ?
LEPORELLO is a non-profit organization dedicated entirely to illustration, located in Knowlton, in the Eastern Townships. This unique project, founded by illustrator Isabelle Arsenault and publisher Frédéric Gauthier, offers an innovative space that combines a creative studio, artist residencies, a specialty boutique, and an exhibition space.

Our mission
Dedicated to the research, creation and promotion of illustration, LEPORELLO's mission is to support professional illustrators while promoting exchanges with the public through educational and cultural activities.

An educational role
We believe in the importance of illustration in promoting literacy and fostering a love of reading. Through our activities, we aim to highlight the educational and beneficial role this art plays in our lives.

An accessible place
The studio is a space equipped with a variety of technical equipment, providing artists in residence and members of the public with access to various artistic disciplines—hand-printing, riso, bookbinding, ceramics, and drawing. It also includes an exhibition space dedicated specifically to illustration.
