Lake Edition — August 15
The Édition Fleuve fair, an event dedicated to fanzines, comics, and print art in the Lower St. Lawrence region, announces the creation of a new artistic gathering in the Eastern Townships: Édition Lac. The first edition of this fair will take place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., in the village of Knowlton, Lac-Brome. Since 2021, Édition Fleuve has brought together dozens of Quebec artists every year at the church in Saint-Simon-de-Rimouski to exhibit and sell independent publications. Over the years, the event has become a favorite gathering place for creators and lovers of independent publishing. With Édition Lac, the fair is now taking on a new dimension by offering a similar event in the Eastern Townships. The program includes 30 guest artists, three free workshops, and an open mic, all in a single day dedicated to the art of print.

Design & Materials residence
LEPORELLO presents the artist in residence for April 2026 for the Design & Materials section. Marc-Olivier Lamothe is a multidisciplinary visual artist. He likes to navigate his art from the tangible world to the digital world and vice versa, exploring different mediums such as handmade paper, clothing, murals, and digital projections. His visual identity consists mainly of abstract cut-out shapes, natural elements, characters, and naive creatures. He wants to create works that take people on a journey and make them happy. If the time a person spends in front of one of his murals makes them forget the darkest moments of their life for a moment and makes them smile, it's a success.
