A word from our spokesperson
Dream, grow, inspire
LEPORELLO is a venue dedicated to the art of illustration: an artist residency, creative workshop, and exhibition space, offering classes and cultural outreach activities. It features a residency program that supports the work of illustration artists, creative activities for children and their families, and a range of training and courses open to all. Its specialty shop completes the experience and encourages public interaction.
Founded in 2024 in Knowlton (Brome Lake) by renowned illustrator Isabelle Arsenault and Frédéric Gauthier, co-founder of Éditions de La Pastèque, Leporello is a non-profit organization that actively contributes to the cultural vitality of its community and the influence of illustration.
Assignment
Leporello's mission is to bring people together around illustration. It offers artists a vibrant space for creation and exchange, and the public educational, entertaining, and inspiring experiences. It aims to contribute to the influence and recognition of illustration by stimulating the world of illustrated children's literature, cultural awareness, and literacy among younger generations.
Financial goal $200,000
