In residence in August 2026

In August, it's Marine Schneider's turn to take up residence at LEPORELLO. A Belgian children's author and illustrator, she recounts simple but pivotal moments of childhood, blending different techniques such as gouache, pencil, acrylic, pastel, and stenciling.

"I like to offer readers, young and old, a sense of refuge in the books I create, hoping to imagine worlds where everyone can find their place." During her residency, she aims to take books beyond the traditional format by exploring workshop possibilities, particularly by re-engaging with poster creation.
