Our Specialists
Our collaborators come from all artistic disciplines to offer you workshops this Fall. Here are some profiles of these passionate artists who wish to share their diverse expertise and skills with you.
Emilie Dion
Before clay, there were words: legal texts, pleadings. A lawyer by training and mother of four, Émilie one day felt the call to create differently—in a more tangible, more grounded way. It was in ceramics that she found this new lease of life. Working with clay allowed her to rediscover silence, time, and meaning. Today, she is a ceramist and founder of L'Atelier Em, in Lac-Brome. She creates simple and sensitive objects, made to accompany everyday life. Each piece tells of slowness, gesture, and material. It is designed to be useful, but also to offer a little extra soul: a curve, a texture, a sensation. For her, there is as much value in the object as in the process: the time taken, the hands searching, the connection with the earth.
Sabina Gibson
Sabina Gibson is a children’s book author, illustrator, and textile artist whose passion for making handmade animals evolved into a multifaceted career. What started as a hobby and side project grew into a thriving creative enterprise, encompassing product design, publishing, workshop facilitation, and selling original artworks worldwide. Her brand, Mount Royal Mint, has brought her plushies, whimsical creations, ornaments, and furniture pieces into homes around the globe. Her beloved characters have inspired collectors, parents, and children alike, and her work continues to bring joy through books, keepsakes, and community workshops.

Elena Radeva
With years of experience in arts, architecture, and design, Elena brings her own unique perspective and aesthetic sense, creating a world where detail reigns supreme. Much more than the finished product, she pays close attention to the entire process. Through letterpress printing, Elena has found an original way to express her expertise and craftsmanship. Founded in 2018, her company Skylar Press was born from the idea of combining the traditional letterpress technique with modern graphic design. She creates each of her products with meticulous attention to detail and a focus on customer satisfaction.
