On November 21, join us for a meet-and-greet with Laura Simonati, who will be visiting Leporello.

Laura Simonati is an Italian illustrator and graphic designer born in Verona. After graduating from the Faculty of Design and Arts at the Libera Università di Bolzano in 2017, she moved to Brussels, where she continued her studies and earned a master’s degree from ENSAV La Cambre. Through her work, she enjoys experimenting and creating illustrations for a variety of purposes. She is fascinated by art brut, vernacular graphic design, and all things related to folklore.

Invited to the Montreal Book Fair by the Italian Cultural Institute, Laura Simonati is stopping by Leporello for a residency. Take this opportunity to come meet her, discover her work, or have your copies of her books signed. Coffee, biscotti, and good company!
