This vase is part of a collection of 20 pieces illustrated by 19 great names in illustration. Gabriel Sabourin is the illustrator in residence at LEPORELLO in September 2025.
A native of Montreal, Gabriel Sabourin developed a passion for drawing from a young age. The black line with which he sketched "flexible" characters and sandwich factories would remain a prominent feature of his illustrations. His training in graphic design solidified his interest in narrative illustration, which he explored professionally during the calm of the pandemic. He attempts to express the confusion and comforts of everyday life through absurd humor. Anthropomorphic objects, unusual beings and plays on perspectives materialize his visual universe.
