Vanessa's sister, Virginia, is in a ferocious mood—she growls, howls at the moon, and does very strange things. She's so depressed that the whole house seems to be in turmoil. Vanessa does everything she can to cheer her up, but nothing works. Until Virginia tells Vanessa about an imaginary place, a wonderful place called Bloomsberry.
