BLADE OF THE IMMORTAL: FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS

The sun beats down hard, the slope steepens. Two vultures circle in the sky in silence. A young man, supple and handsome as one is at thirty, follows an old mountaineer without effort. He smiles. Drafted into a fratricidal war, he has joined a group of republican partisans to blow up a bridge and facilitate a large-scale attack against fascist troops. He has seventy-two hours ahead of him. His chances of success are slim; he knows it and does not care.

Based on Ernest Hemingway.
