Watercolor – Intermediate

Friday, from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. from for a total of 6 session(s)

ABOUT THE COURSE

This course is intended for individuals who already have a basic knowledge of watercolor and wish to explore the textural possibilities specific to this medium more deeply. Designed as a guided exploration, it combines technical approaches with personalized support to enrich your artistic practice.

Experimentation with a variety of techniques to create textural effects — granulation, textured washes, salt effects, scratching, adding mediums, imprinting, layering, and masking. Exercises based on natural elements, to learn how to translate texture into a fluid and expressive composition.

Each session focuses on a theme or technical challenge, with demonstrations, time for experimentation, group discussions, and personalized feedback. Dedicated time to develop your own ideas, with individual guidance to refine your artistic intention, palette, composition, and effects.

This course is designed as a creative research lab: you'll develop your sense of observation, technical mastery, and ability to translate visual or tactile sensations through watercolor.
