DEJIMA X FANNY DREYER GLASS
DEJIMA X FANNY DREYER GLASS
Designed by Swiss illustrator Fanny Dreyer, the Akaé collection was inspired by the ancient red porcelain of the same name, produced in Arita from the 17th century. On these pieces with their ivory glaze and imperfect forms, the artist has created a nostalgic universe populated by children and animals from European and Japanese folklore.
The designs in this collection are hand-transferred onto glazed ceramic, which creates slight variations in placement from one piece to another.
