J & K

John Pham’s seemingly simple stories of best friends Jay and Kay and their oddball circle of acquaintances weave together with comedic twists and turns and unexpected sadness, all supported by the author’s mastery of drawing and the language of comics. The bold use of bright colors and irresistible humor captures the reader's attention, only to gradually reveal psychological subtlety, character depth, and unsuspected existential gravity.
