WAITING DAYS

While World War II drags on, Jérôme Beauvais has taken refuge in the forest and is waiting. After deserting the Canadian Forces, his mother sent him to this place where he lives as a recluse with his taciturn grandfather, who keeps him busy with renovations to his old house. Soon, Jérôme becomes interested in the history of the place, punctuated by crimes and suspicious deaths. As his isolation grows, Jérôme delves into the secrets of the house. A suicide, a fire, and whispers of witchcraft haunt his thoughts, gradually overshadowing the reality of the war and his own ghosts.
