A fable about self-acceptance. A grain of sand was unhappy with its condition. One day, it saw a peaceful pebble. "How I wish I were in its place," it thought. Suddenly, as if by magic, it transformed into a pebble. This new life was wonderful at first, then it bored him. He saw a volcano and thought it must be better than being a pebble.
