THE GRAIN OF SAND

A grain of sand was not happy with its condition. One day, it saw a peaceful pebble. "How I wish I could be in its place," it thought. Suddenly, as if by magic, it transformed into a pebble. This new life was wonderful at first, but then it grew bored. It spotted a volcano and thought that must be better than being a pebble. Immediately, it changed into a volcano. But that wasn't enough. It successively took the form of the sun, a cloud, and the ocean. Later, it noticed a sandcastle and began to dream of a new transformation...
