Dutilleul leads a quiet life; he spends his days at the office and his evenings reading the newspaper. One night, the power goes out, and when it comes back on, he finds himself in a strange situation. Dutilleul discovers he has developed the ability to walk through walls. Ignoring the doctor's recommendations, he quickly finds himself overwhelmed. In this graphic novel adaptation of Marcel Aymé's 1943 short story, "Le passe-muraille," Obom offers a gentle and absurd story about a man who suddenly and unexpectedly gains power, and the troubles that follow. Diane Obomsawin, aka Obom, is a cartoonist and animator living in Montreal. She publishes her comics with L'Oie de Cravan and in English with Drawn & Quarterly. She has directed several animated films as an independent filmmaker and seven works in collaboration with the National Film Board of Canada.
