THE ILLUSTRATORS: DICK BRUNA

A fascinating introduction to the art and techniques of illustrator Dick Bruna, creator of Miffy — a character described by the *New York Times* as "one of the most recognizable in the world."
By the time he retired, Dutch artist Dick Bruna was an international star whose fame extended far beyond children's literature; his creation, Miffy, had become a global phenomenon, translated into over fifty languages. Illustrator Bruce Ingman invites us behind the scenes of Dick Bruna's work, the father of some of the most endearing children's characters.
