ABOUT THE COURSE

In this course, you will be invited to explore a range of creative techniques to design a series of 4-inch square ceramic tiles. Step-by-step guidance will enable everyone to create their own pieces while experimenting with various graphic and decorative rendering processes.

The methods offered will include printing, engraving, decal application, laser cutting, and the use of colored pigments. The choice of techniques will be adjusted according to your interests and desires, promoting a personalized approach that is open to exploration.

Each person will create about twenty tiles, with or without glaze, playing with textures, colors, and surface effects. During the last session, different mounting and presentation options will be explored to showcase the glazed pieces produced throughout the course.

Whether you have some experience in ceramics or are just discovering it, this workshop offers an accessible and stimulating creative space, conducive to experimentation and personal expression.
