Hand-painted illustration by Geneviève Godbout on a vase made by Montreal ceramist Ronald Pothier. This unique 12 cm-high piece is ideal for holding pencils, brushes, flowers, café latté or other items. This vase is part of a collection of 20 pieces illustrated by 19 great names in illustration.

Geneviève Godbout is an illustrator specializing in children's books. She now lives in Montreal, surrounded by her small family, after spending many years in London working as the illustrator of the Winnie-the-Pooh franchise for the Walt Disney Company. Her distinctive style, using ecu pastels and colored pencils, has earned her collaborations with various publishers here and abroad. She has also illustrated Christmas and Holiday 2021 stamps for Canada Post, and collaborated on packaging for Personnelle (Metro) baby food and care products. Geneviève Godbout's work has also been selected for the Society of Illustrators Original Art Exhibition in New York in 2017, 2018 and 2019, for her books Jonny Appleseed, Goodnight, Anne and Apple Cake. She is currently working on the sequel to Malou, her first album as an author, as well as a new children's book to be published by Candlewick Press in the USA in 2025.
