Hand-painted illustration by Aless MC on a vase created by Montreal ceramist Ronald Pothier. This unique 12 cm-high piece is ideal for holding pencils, brushes, flowers, café latté or other items. This vase is part of a collection of 20 pieces illustrated by 19 great names in illustration. Aless MC is LEPORELLO's illustrator-in-residence for June 2025.

Alessandra McGovern, aka Aless MC, lives and works in the Montreal area as an illustrator and graphic designer. With a bachelor's degree in graphic design from the Université du Québec à Montréal, she combines design, illustration and visual art, enabling her to work on a wide range of projects, including mural art, editorial illustration and children's literature. From the outset, she has developed a personal practice in parallel with her commercial work, in order to enrich her body of work through the reciprocal influence of these two spheres of activity.
